YOUSED Remake Leather Urban Flight Jacket A-2 Black
We dismantle vintage Italian leather, oiled jackets, workwear, Harris Tweed, and other materials to create one-of-a-kind leather items and outerwear reconstructed from the patterns.
The harmony created by blending “aging” with “the present” embraces the wearer with the one-of-a-kind strength of vintage clothing and a sophisticated sense of playfulness. YOUSED brings materials that remain fresh and timeless even after many years into contemporary patterns, adding new “color” to your everyday life.
A leather jacket unique to YOUSED, made by carefully dismantling individual vintage European leather jackets in good condition, combining their parts, and reconstructing them. Combining leathers with different character creates a one-of-a-kind look for you to enjoy. The scratches, wrinkles, and variations in the leather that are unique to vintage garments are preserved as they are, allowing us to create each piece using the distinctive character of leather aged over many years.
Introduced as a new style this season, this A-2 flight jacket-inspired design is a leather flight jacket worn by pilots of the United States Army Air Forces (USAAF), particularly during World War II. The overall silhouette was reconsidered and adjusted to create a well-balanced shape unique to YOUSED.
The waist pockets can also be accessed from the sides. The lining is made from black chambray. Action pleats on the back provide excellent comfort. By removing the shoulder epaulets, we have retained the military feel while creating a clean look that is easy to wear every day.

A leather jacket is, after all, one of those garments people aspire to wear at any age.
Classic flight jackets like the A-2 have a timeless appeal. However, genuinely authentic versions can have stiff leather and require a certain amount of commitment to wear.
In that respect, I think this YOUSED jacket strikes a really excellent balance.
It has the softness and character unique to leather that has been used for many years, offering a natural feel that conforms to your body from the start. Free from the stiffness often associated with new leather jackets, its greatest appeal is how easily you can throw it on and wear it every day.
Personally, I like a relaxed look with faded denim, a sweatshirt, and sneakers. I think it looks best worn casually with your everyday clothes, without trying too hard to dress it up.
I am 175 cm tall, weigh 75 kg, and am wearing size 2. It has a comfortable amount of room, allowing you to wear a sweatshirt or similar layer underneath without feeling restricted.
Above all, because it is reconstructed from well-worn leather, each piece has its own unique character.
It already has a great character, but part of the fun is continuing to make it conform to your own body.
Rather than a leather jacket reserved for special occasions, this is a piece we want you to wear often in your everyday life.
