WORKERS 2 PLY T, REGULAR Fit, Numa Blue

The classic WORKERS T-shirt has evolved from 3-ply to 2-ply.
The reason for this change lies in the fabric's thickness and density. While the 3-ply offered a beautiful surface, the high fabric density made it difficult to wear during today's intense summer heat.
Therefore, by switching to 2-ply, we reduced the weight by about 5%, bringing it to approximately 5.7 oz.
Furthermore, while 3-ply was knitted using three 80-count yarns (equivalent to 26-count), 2-ply uses two 40-count yarns (equivalent to 20-count).
In yarn counts, a smaller number indicates a thicker yarn, so the 2-ply uses thicker yarn than the 3-ply.
Combined with a slightly lower ounce weight, this means lower knitting density, resulting in better breathability and a cooler feel.
(The same principle explains why madras is cooler than poplin, even at the same weight.)

"2-PLY" means "two yarns twisted together."
A single yarn is Z-twisted (left-handed). Two of these are combined and twisted together in the S direction (right-handed) to create a single yarn before being fed into the knitting machine.
This minimizes "twisting and skewing" for a cleaner finish.
Jersey (T-shirt fabric) made from a single yarn tends to suffer from "twisting/skewing" where the fabric pulls in the direction of the yarn twist.
To prevent this, the 2-PLY-T uses a method where the two yarns are twisted together in the opposite direction of the yarn's own twist, meaning:

- The twist direction of the single yarn (left) vs. The twisting direction of the two yarns (right)

They cancel each other's twist out, suppressing skewing.
The secret to the "clean" look where the fabric hangs straight when worn lies in this 2-ply, two-yarn construction.

The Regular fit has a relaxed silhouette with good airflow, making it cool enough to wear on its own.
The length is approximately 65 cm for both sizes, based on a size M.
