WORKERS Officer Trousers,

WORKERS is a menswear manufacturer based in Okayama. The brand creates clothing rooted in workwear, traditional styles, and military gear, driven by a thorough exploration of vintage garments. The representative personally studies original vintage items, visits the original manufacturers and existing historical buildings to research documentation, and translates these findings into modern, wearable pieces through meticulous pattern work.

This season, we have two types of Officer Trousers: a Regular Fit with a leg opening of about 21 cm, and a 2-tuck model with a leg opening of about 20 cm.

The Regular Fit features double-stitched lap seams on the inseams and outseams—a classic specification found in military chinos. It is wider than the 18 cm Slim model and narrower than the 24 cm Vintage originals. It is a truly "standard" straight silhouette.

The design is the simplest possible "plain front" (no tucks). The welt pockets are kept as narrow as possible. The waistband uses a "waist lining" construction, where a separate piece is attached to the inside. (The 2-tuck model features a separate "attached" waistband.)

At a glance, you might think the only difference is the silhouette, but look closely and you’ll see the specifications for the Regular Fit and the 2-tuck are completely different.

Because we do things like this, the factory finally complained and told us they'd be raising prices significantly starting next season. If you've been looking for these, please get them while they're available this season.

The material is 8-ounce Hunter Green chino. You remember those old American garments, right? The ones in that grayish-green color that wasn't quite the same as OD (Olive Drab)—not too dark, and a slightly thinner chino fabric? For some reason, it was mysteriously named "Hunter Green" in mail-order catalogs, which you couldn't have imagined from the name. That’s the shade. The 10-ounce USMC Khaki color was derived from an original USMC vintage piece and custom-dyed specifically for WORKERS.

The products have already been one-washed.

With such a clean silhouette, this is a model that is always easy to wear.

They are narrower than the original military chinos, but not "slim."

The exquisite silhouette is fantastic, and overall, this is a highly recommended model that I reach for constantly.
