About the brand and product

WAREHOUSE Lot 4601 M.A.S.H.

Since its founding in 1995, WAREHOUSE has been a brand dedicated to the faithful reproduction of vintage clothing. We examine the historical background of each vintage garment we encounter, conducting thorough research into everything from the individual yarn and fabric to the sewing and washing processes. WAREHOUSE is not a "designer brand." Much like the anonymous workwear and daily wear of the past, we believe these garments are attractive precisely because the creator remains unknown.

This T-shirt uses a jersey body made from size 12 uneven yarns, which can be considered the standard fabric for WAREHOUSE. The single yarn, which replicates natural unevenness, provides texture on its own, and the unique, loose knitting method creates horizontal shading in the fabric. The neck uses a double-layered specification known as a "double trumpet." While it has a substantial feel in its unwashed state, the neckline will loosen and slightly open to the front, back, and sides after repeated washing. Please try this "shadow border" fabric, which looks like a solid color but features a subtle, floating stripe pattern unique to tubular knitting.

This design is inspired by the Mobile Army Surgical Hospital (M.A.S.H.) units of the 1950s. "MASH" became widely known through the 1970 film and the long-running, popular TV series that followed, becoming an iconic symbol of both military and pop culture. The Red Cross and "35 M.A.S.H." stencil prints on the front and back capture the atmosphere of handmade military graphics from that era.
