VICTORIA ATHLETICS is a factory established in 1978 in Ontario, Canada, that specializes in cut-and-sew garments. Initially operating as a contract manufacturer for American clothing brands, the factory went on to handle OEM production for major U.S. brands such as "RALPH LAUREN" and "J.CREW."

The brand was relaunched as a heritage collection using the same patterns from their early days. They remain one of the few cut-and-sew manufacturers in North America that carries out its entire production process in its own factory in Canada.

We have received another batch of their simple yet incredibly charming sweatshirts this season. It has a crewneck sweatshirt aesthetic that evokes the rare, "Made in USA" vibe of the 80s and 90s.

The fabric is moderately thick yet soft and very comfortable to wear; it feels great against the skin and develops an even softer texture with repeated washing. The construction is authentic, making heavy use of four-needle flatseam stitching, resulting in a fantastic sweatshirt that impressively defies the typical balance between quality and price. Finding this level of quality at this price point is quite difficult.

Unfortunately, we cannot place additional orders, so they arrive once a year at this time and are sold until they are gone. It is a one-time-a-year delivery, but as it is a magnificent Canadian-made sweatshirt, we highly recommend that you try it out.

The VICTORIA ATHLETICS crewneck sweatshirt that we select every year has arrived again. It is a sweatshirt with just the right amount of thickness, a fluffy softness, and exceptional comfort. The simple design and unpretentious style feel fresh and are really great.

Distinct from Japanese-made sweatshirts like those from Warehouse, this is a sturdy sweatshirt with a sense of nostalgia unique to America and Canada. It has become quite difficult to find sweatshirts like this nowadays.

We cannot place additional orders, so they are only available once a year. This is truly one of my top recommendations, so please do give it a try.
