TUF-NUT, which developed workwear primarily in the American West, earned a reputation for high-quality craftsmanship, leading them to supply work shirts and slacks to the military during World War II.
After the war, they continued to produce high-quality chambray shirts, work jackets, work pants, overalls, and more, gaining widespread popularity across the United States.
Later, they expanded their offerings beyond traditional workwear to meet the needs of the times.
In the 60s, the brand distinguished itself from other workwear manufacturers by diversifying its materials, functionality, and color palettes, introducing items like colored pants and stretchy apparel that embraced an East Coast aesthetic.

These work trousers are crafted from a sturdy twill fabric woven with a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton.
The fabric is characterized by its pleasant texture, wrinkle resistance, and a distinct luster.
While vintage TUF-NUT trousers often feature urea buttons, these have been updated with snap buttons engraved with the brand name for added convenience.
While incorporating vintage details such as a waist coin pocket and a brass TALON zipper, the pocket openings and pocket bags have been designed slightly larger for modern daily use.
The silhouette is a wide straight cut, with a uniform length across all waist sizes.

This is a wide-silhouette version of the TN42300, which has been popular since its release in 2022. It maintains the specifications of the TN42300 while featuring a deeper rise and a fuller silhouette with more room from the hip to the hem.
The label on the rear right pocket is a newly designed element for this model.
