SUNNY SIDE UP is an Okayama-based brand where the designer personally handles everything from planning and design to remake sewing.
They create stylish items remade for the modern era by making the most of the qualities of vintage and used clothing.
These items, which can only be made by someone with exceptional taste, radiate a one-of-a-kind presence that cannot be found elsewhere.

 

This is a labor-intensive model created uniquely, based on used painter pants.

The waistband was dismantled and pleated to create a very well-balanced silhouette.

Furthermore, it features a double-knee design using the same duck fabric taken from another pair, with distress processing applied only to that fabric.

It is a tasteful pair finished with a wide yet well-balanced silhouette.

Because the original painter pants used are vintage, they have a naturally worn-in, great atmosphere from the start—a model that cannot be replicated with brand-new materials.

Everything is one-of-a-kind; no two pairs are the same, making this a truly special model.

I am wearing a different piece in size 4, so please use it as a reference for the silhouette.

Each pair is handmade: the waist of the large-sized vintage painter pants is dismantled, and pleats are added to achieve a beautiful, well-balanced silhouette.

The process is very labor-intensive, involving manual work to create the double-knee design and apply the distressing.

Every piece is unique, making them highly rare items.
