SUNNY SIDE UP is an Okayama-based brand where the designer handles everything from planning and design to remake sewing. They craft tasteful items remade to suit modern times while maximizing the unique qualities of vintage and used clothing. These items, born from an exceptional sense of style, possess a one-of-a-kind presence that cannot be found anywhere else.
This is a highly elaborate model, created independently using used painter pants as a base.
The waistband was disassembled and pleats were added to create a very well-balanced silhouette.
Additionally, it features a double-knee design using the same duck fabric taken from a different pair, with distress processing applied only to that specific fabric.
It is a tasteful pair finished with a wide yet well-balanced silhouette.
Since the original painter pants used are vintage, the item has a soft, worn-in atmosphere from the start that cannot be replicated in new products.
Everything is one-of-a-kind; there are no two identical pieces, making this a truly special model.

Each pair is handcrafted by disassembling the waist of large-sized vintage painter pants and adding pleats to create a beautiful, balanced silhouette.
The double-knee specification and distressing are all labor-intensive processes performed by hand.
Each item is one-of-a-kind and extremely rare.
