【SUNNY SIDE UP】 is a brand based in Okayama where the designer themselves handles everything from planning and design to remake sewing.
They create stylish items that make the most of the appeal of used and vintage clothing, remaking them to suit the modern era.
These items, which can only be crafted by someone with exceptional taste, radiate a one-of-a-kind presence that cannot be found anywhere else.
We have received a 1st-type denim jacket, reconstructed domestically after dismantling used denim down to the fabric level. This piece is completed through an incredibly labor-intensive process, reconstructing the fabric while carefully considering the balance of the condition and shade of the disassembled pieces.
Because it uses vintage fabric, it has an overwhelming presence, making it a jacket absolutely unlike any other. Regarding the silhouette, it is finished with a large fit, just like the T-back jackets of that era. Although it has a relaxed fit, it maintains the shorter length of the 1st type, allowing it to be worn with excellent balance.
