Sanders is a prestigious British footwear brand established in 1873 in Rushden, Northamptonshire, England.
The majority of leather shoes supplied to the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) are manufactured by Sanders, with approximately 50% of the factory's production lines dedicated to these orders.
As a result, they are able to offer exceptional value for their own collections, producing traditional "Made in England" shoes at lower costs, even while using the same manufacturing methods and natural materials as other Northampton-based manufacturers.
Today, with over 90 craftsmen, the company produces OEM goods for renowned brands such as Gieves & Hawkes, Marcel Lassance, A.P.C., and Ralph Lauren, while simultaneously focusing on its own "Sanders" label.
By applying their own unique improvements to Goodyear-welted shoes—which can often feel stiff, heavy, and rugged—they have created practical footwear that looks classic but feels light, soft, and comfortable to wear.

It features the distinctive triple-stitch line, also known as Puritan stitching, on the toe cap and eyelet tabs—a technique using a triple-needle machine that has become rare today.
The heel is permitted to bear the Crown mark, a signature of British heritage.
The "Derby" refers to the "open lacing" style, where the eyelet tabs are sewn on top of the vamp.
The advantage of this design is that the eyelets open wide, making them easy to put on and take off.
The upper is crafted from polished leather, which is glossy, resistant to scratches and stains, and relatively water-repellent.
After brushing, you can maintain the shine by polishing with a soft, damp cloth. Because they are easy to care for, they are highly recommended for those wearing leather shoes for the first time.
