ABOUT THE BRAND AND PRODUCTS
Kataomimi brand bandanas are 100% made in Japan. Each shuttle-loomed bandana features two selvedge edges on fabric measuring 90cm x 90cm or 70cm x 70cm.
Shrinkage will occur, and light colors are sensitive to washing and sunlight. Please take care accordingly.
All products are non-toxic and have passed strict Japanese quality standards.
No discharge (bleaching) printing is used in any part of the process. Each bandana is hand-printed and sewn in the Kansai region of Japan.
The bandanas are designed and conceptualized by Jonathan Lukacek.
All of the brand's art is created by Yurika Shikai. Together, each bandana is carefully designed to bring something entirely new to the market.
These products are useful not only for fashion but for everyday life as well.
Please use them for various occasions, such as gift wrapping or wearing as a babushka. The utility is endless.

Based on our continued respect for and interest in the USARP—the United States Antarctic Research Project—preparations for the manufacture of the new issue bandana are now complete.
In the initial design phase, we referenced state souvenir kerchiefs that were once circulated in small numbers within the United States, adopting a layout based on a map style.
The primary visual structure is organized around a comprehensive map of the Antarctic. Regarding the graphic treatment, we studied and referenced the designs of 1950s industrial and workwear bandanas. The design takes into account visibility, design durability, and the field equipment characteristics of the era.
The four corner sections feature large ice blocks and ice floe zones.
At the central command position, we have stationed one Antarctic expedition scientist and one accompanying penguin crew member.
Both have been placed with the goal of boosting morale and maintaining the spirit of exploration.
The final specification is completed as a souvenir-type utility bandana for summer deployment.
It has the ability to provide a psychological cooling effect in high-temperature environments.
Furthermore, this equipment has been officially approved for civilian use throughout the year.
We authorize its adaptation to any attire at the discretion of the individual.
