The brand began as "cable" with the 2008 Spring/Summer collection. In the 2013 Spring/Summer season, the brand name was changed to "cableami".

While "cable" refers to the traditional Aran knitting pattern, "ami" carries two meanings: the Japanese word for "knitting" and the French word for "friend".

The name reflects two core philosophies: weaving various elements together like a cable knit, and crafting hats that are cherished like a good friend.

The brand is based in Kobe.

 

The "Print Fleece AVIATOR" is tailored from fleece fabric printed with a unique floral pattern.

Rooted in the hats worn by early aviators, this flight cap has been given a modern twist using fleece material.

Though referred to by many names—aviator cap, flight cap, or pilot cap—it provides exceptional warmth by fully covering the ears.

While many flight caps have a rugged aesthetic featuring leather or fur, the use of floral fleece makes this piece much easier to incorporate into your wardrobe.
