Leveraging years of expertise in helmet manufacturing and sales, BEETLE L.A.C has evolved into the more user-friendly BEETLE L.A.C-2.
The BEETLE L.A.C is a chopper helmet specialized for the SoCal biker style, designed to be worn over a beanie or cap.
While utilizing a compact, streamlined shell that tapers toward the chin, it achieves a comfortable fit by incorporating a urethane cushion inner lining (BEETLE liner system).
The shell of the BEETLE L.A.C is manufactured using a special three-piece mold to maintain its compact shape, allowing for size adjustments by changing the thickness of the inner lining while keeping the shell size constant.
Strap
We have shortened the strap length to improve the fit for those with smaller faces.
Additionally, we have refined the quality of the leather and nylon belt. It features a single strap made from high-quality domestic cowhide, carefully sewn one by one by skilled Japanese craftsmen. The nylon belt is a BEETLE original, produced with meticulous attention to the yarn count, resulting in a smoother and thicker finish. A chin cup cannot be attached.
Inner Lining
We have improved our proprietary replaceable "BEETLE Liner system" for a better fit.
The design eliminates pressure around the crown, allowing for a deeper fit.
The inner lining features "BEETLE Blue Liner," a blue-green color that stands out in the chopper scene.
* As before, it can be removed for size replacement and washing.
Cheek Pads
The BEETLE L.A.C-2 features detachable cheek pads.
Matching the LAC shell's distinctive tapered chin shape, they are adjusted to be thicker from the temples to under the ears and thinner at the back, achieving a superior fit and wind protection.
The cheek pads are finished in black fabric so they are inconspicuous when worn.
Because it wraps around the entire head, even those with a wider head shape, common among Japanese people, can wear it comfortably when worn directly.
