Leveraging our long-standing expertise in helmet manufacturing and sales, BEETLE L.A.C has evolved into the more user-friendly BEETLE L.A.C-2.
The BEETLE L.A.C is a chopper helmet specialized for the SoCal biker style, designed to be worn over a beanie or cap.
While utilizing a compact, streamlined shell that tapers toward the chin, it achieves a comfortable, relaxed fit by employing a urethane cushion inner (the BEETLE liner system).
The BEETLE L.A.C shell is crafted using a special 3-piece mold to maintain its compact shape; the shell size remains constant, with sizing adjustments made by varying the thickness of the inner liner.
Strap
The length has been shortened to improve the fit for those with smaller faces.
We have also reviewed the quality of the leather and nylon belts. It features a single strap made from high-quality domestic cowhide, carefully sewn one by one by skilled Japanese craftsmen. The nylon belt is an original BEETLE production, with meticulous attention paid even to the thread count, resulting in a smoother, thicker finish. A CHIN CUP cannot be attached.
Inner
We have improved OCEANBEETLE's unique, replaceable "BEETLE Liner system" to enhance the fit.
The design eliminates tightness around the crown, allowing for a deeper fit.
The inner color features "BEETLE Blue Liner," a blue-green shade that stands out in the chopper scene.
* As before, it can be removed for size replacement or washing.
Cheek Pads
The BEETLE L.A.C-2 features detachable cheek pads.
Designed to match the LAC shell's signature chin-tapered shape, the pads are thicker from the temples to below the ears and thinner at the back, achieving a superior fit and wind protection.
The cheek pads are finished in black fabric so they are inconspicuous when worn.
Because it is designed to wrap around the entire head, it can be worn comfortably even by those with a broader head shape, which is common among Japanese people, when worn directly.
