Nasngwam NASUNGUWAM GALAXY CREW
Nasngwam was launched in 2005. Inspired by the designer's own influences from 1970s Native American, hippie, surf, and skate cultures, the brand creates products updated for the present day.
It is a brand that continues to offer nostalgic yet new ideas without ever losing its sense of playfulness.
Nasngwam's Galaxy series was created with inspiration from Levi's "Galactic Jeans."
Different techniques, including dyeing and discharge printing, are used on each individual piece to create a fine pattern reminiscent of a galaxy.
It makes an impact at first glance, but once worn, it blends in naturally and has a very appealing character.
The fabric is lightweight French terry, not brushed fleece, so you can wear it from this time of year with the feel of a long-sleeve T-shirt.
The relaxed width and shorter length create a clean, easy-to-wear look.

At first glance, the pattern looks quite distinctive, but when you actually wear it, it blends in surprisingly naturally. It has a presence that solid-color sweatshirts lack, without ever being too flashy. This finely balanced look is truly excellent.
What I personally like is the balance between the relaxed width and shorter length. Although it feels like wearing a regular sweatshirt, it creates a subtle change in the silhouette, making familiar outfits feel fresh.
The fabric is a lightweight French terry that is not too thick, so it is easy to wear casually, much like a long-sleeve T-shirt. Wear it on its own in early autumn, then as a jacket layer when it gets colder; I think you can enjoy it well into early spring.
Personally, I like wearing it casually with faded denim or chino pants. Since the pattern has a strong presence, it looks great with simple clothing elsewhere in the outfit.
I am 175 cm tall and weigh 75 kg, and I am wearing size L. There is plenty of room across the chest, but because the length is not too long, it pairs well with wide-leg pants.
The fact that this pattern is expressed using different techniques on each individual piece is another interesting detail that feels distinctly Nasngwam.
Basic clothing is of course important, but I feel that adding just one slightly playful piece like this makes choosing what to wear every day even more enjoyable.
