Mr.OLDMAN × JAWANDI Cactus Embroidery Corduroy Santai Pants

"Jawandi" is a handmade brand operating out of Bali.
They carefully select hard-to-find fabrics from a diverse range of materials, using high-quality and durable textiles. Every item is handcrafted by local Balinese artisans using traditional techniques. Focusing on a philosophy of "perfectly imperfect" craftsmanship, they propose products that blend seamlessly into daily life with playful designs.

JAWANDI is a Balinese brand that receives great acclaim every time it arrives thanks to its unique approach to manufacturing. For this release, they have created a special, non-standard model as a bespoke project for Mr.OLDMAN.

The material used is a wide-wale corduroy with an exquisite hue, based on vintage Ralph Lauren corduroy pants. It finished in a beautiful khaki that is neither beige nor camel—be sure to take a look. The fabric weight is not too heavy, making it comfortable to wear across many seasons.

We had them add the chain-stitch embroidery that JAWANDI specializes in. Because the cactus pattern, depicted in olive and orange thread, is hand-embroidered, each piece is a one-of-a-kind item with subtle differences in shape, balance, and placement. No matter which piece you choose, the level of craftsmanship is remarkably high and provides a quality you will surely be satisfied with.

As for the pant details, they feature an easy-fit waist and a relaxed silhouette that tapers nicely toward the hem. They include two front pockets and a rear right pocket. There are loops on the front left waist and right hip for attaching keychains. With a gusset at the crotch, these are finished as exceptionally comfortable pants.

These are well-balanced pants with an easy waist and a nice taper. The exquisite khaki color was replicated directly from vintage Ralph Lauren pants. The cactus pattern, with the unique atmosphere of chain-stitch embroidery, is completely one-of-a-kind, with subtle differences in silhouette, size, and placement.

They are all finished to a high degree of perfection, so please rest assured that you will be satisfied with whichever piece you choose!

Although they are easy pants, they include loops for attaching a keychain; they are "playful" pants for adults, crafted with attention to every detail. This is a limited, one-time-only release, so I highly recommend grabbing a pair early.
