MOONCASTLE is a knitwear brand produced by a knitting factory in Osaka, established in 1966.
In 2020, the third-generation owner, Ryoichi Tsukishiro, launched the MOONCASTLE brand, which has since gained support from many customers not only in Japan but all over the world.
The brand name "MOONCASTLE" translates to "Tsukishiro," which is the founder's family name.
MOONCASTLE was born from a pledge to create products worthy of his name.
By selecting the finest materials from around the world, such as Australian merino wool and "Ice Cotton" produced by a long-established Swiss spinning manufacturer, we engage in manufacturing at our own Osaka factory with a spirit that values the belief that "God is in the details."
By handling every process in-house—including yarn selection, design, pattern making, knitting, sewing, and finishing—we are able to make fine adjustments, consistently maintaining a level of stable quality that others cannot imitate.

Furthermore, while many functional materials are made of chemical fibers like nylon or polyester and involve the use of chemical agents, Ice Cotton is a 100% natural cotton fiber produced through an eco-friendly manufacturing process that is kind to the Earth.
