MODUCT is a brand launched in 2021. Its name is a coined word combining “modification” and “product.” Under the concept of “improved products,” the brand offers items with functional, practical improvements, free from seasonal themes and conventional thinking.With the distinctive perspective and exceptional craftsmanship of Toyo Enterprise, whose expertise lies in vintage clothing, the collection creates garments as “gear,” like equipment or uniforms, and elevates them with a polished, contemporary sense of style.
This ball-padded vest is made from “Grunge 64 Cloth,” a classic 60% cotton, 40% nylon 64 cloth given a distinctive finish. It has the feel of 1970s outdoor gear, but uses moisture-resistant “BALL PADDING” for insulation, making it machine washable at home. It also develops a character over time that differs from the 64-cloth down vests of that era.

This MODUCT padded vest has the feel of classic outdoor wear, along with a relaxed, almost vintage-clothing look.
What I especially like is its distinctive blue color. It has a slightly muted look that makes it feel like a well-loved old favorite, even though it’s brand new.
It’s made from 60/40 cloth, so you get a natural texture that’s different from an all-nylon fabric, and the padded construction gives it just the right amount of volume.
I think it looks great thrown on casually over a slightly worn-in sweatshirt or flannel shirt, without making the outfit look too polished.
It would look great with faded denim or military pants, and I think it would also pair well with wide-leg chinos.
Since vests have no sleeves, they’re surprisingly versatile, from the changing seasons through the depths of winter.Wear it over a sweatshirt in fall, then layer it under a jacket or coat when it gets cold.
