The brand name "melple" is a portmanteau derived from "mellow people."

It represents people who live rich lifestyles, inspired by the mellow and relaxed atmosphere of California.

Influenced by that culture, we propose a "Modern Vintage Style" that reflects those elements into our craftsmanship.

Rather than simply reproducing archives from the past, we offer styles that reflect our culture and current trends in a way that is uniquely melple.

Please enjoy the relaxed, distinctively melple atmosphere.

 


The starting point for these pants was my desire for a pair that could look both "sharp and polished" and "smart and sporty."
For me, they have truly become an indispensable pair for daily life, golf, and traveling on overseas trips.

Because this unique stretch fabric is so elastic, most regular pants factories found it too difficult to sew, and I was turned away by so many of them saying, "We can't sew this... it's not worth the effort..." I finally found a factory to take it on after pleading with a great number of them.
Even so, I continue to sell them because I simply had to make them, and I can confidently recommend them as a pair that is truly well-made.
Honestly, how much longer we can continue to sell them depends on the factory... (laughs)

Please try them on and get hooked on these pants. They are finished in a slim trouser silhouette with a cropped length.
Once you wear them, you'll be hooked—an all-rounder you'll want to take everywhere.

With an easy-fit waist and high elasticity, these are the ultimate comfortable pants that you won't even feel like you're wearing.
They have pleats for extra room around the hips, a moderate taper, and an inseam that requires no hemming.
