The brand name "melple" is a coined term derived from "mellow people."
It represents the mellow, relaxed atmosphere of California and the people who lead rich, fulfilling lifestyles.
Influenced by this culture, we propose a "Modern Vintage Style" that reflects these values in our craftsmanship.
Rather than simply recreating vintage archives, we interpret ever-changing cultures and styles in a uniquely "melple" way.

These Carpenter Pants have been finished with hand-applied paint.
The design was inspired by paint splatters left on the streets of LA.
Each pair is one-of-a-kind, featuring hand-painted details that give every piece a slightly different expression.
This is a hybrid design that uses US Army fatigue/baker pants as a base while incorporating the functional details of painter pants.
The fabric is a richly textured back satin woven with uneven yarns, which has been carefully washed to recreate the look of vintage wear.

The front faithfully reproduces the details of baker pants, while the back features the characteristic large back pockets, hammer loop, and tool pocket of painter pants.
We have adopted a piped-stem silhouette with minimal tapering, inheriting the look from our popular, wide-fitting "The American Wide Trousers."
By blending classic American casual elements with a silhouette focused on the details that define melple, we believe we have created a new staple that you will love for years to come.

The melple Carpenter Pants are a masterpiece and a very popular model, with many customers coming back to buy them in different colors.

While they have a moderately relaxed silhouette, the way they taper toward the hem is also very clean and flattering.

The paint is applied by hand, one piece at a time, resulting in a very tasteful finish.

It’s not too flashy, offering a touch of playfulness suitable for adults.
