The brand name "melple" is a portmanteau derived from "mellow people." It represents the mellow, laid-back atmosphere of California and the people who lead rich, fulfilling lifestyles. Inspired by such culture, the brand proposes a "Modern Vintage Style" that reflects these influences in its craftsmanship.

This is the latest addition to our "The American" series, reconstructed with the image of heavyweight T-shirts made in the USA during the 80s and early 90s.
Its relaxed fit makes a statement even when worn on its own.
The fabric uses ultra-thick (10-count single) open-end yarn to replicate the unique, coarse texture found in those original American-made T-shirts.
While typically knitted at 18 gauge, this tightly-knit jersey fabric is crafted at 22 gauge, providing a reassuring sense of firmness and structure.

The melple crewneck T-shirt I fell in love with at the exhibition has finally arrived. Once you touch it in person, you'll understand—it's a high-quality cotton material with a thickness I've never seen before. It has a coarse, dry touch, and I'm looking forward to how much better it will feel as it gets washed over time.
While it features the popular oversized silhouette, it maintains a well-balanced look that's perfect for adults to wear. Everything is carefully calculated, from the body width and length to the thickness of the sleeves, the crewneck ribbing, and the hem. This is my top recommendation for the season; it’s one of those pieces where you’ll definitely want to secure one before they're gone! (laughs) I'm also really pleased with the price, which is hard to believe for this level of quality.
