The brand name "melple" is a portmanteau of "mellow people."
The mellow, laid-back atmosphere of California and its people enjoying a rich lifestyle.
Influenced by that culture, we bring its spirit into our designs with our “Modern Vintage Style.” Rather than simply reproducing pieces from the archives, we offer ever-changing culture and styles in our own melple way. We hope you enjoy melple's relaxed, distinctive atmosphere.
We've updated the Premiere Suede Turtleneck L/S, a winter staple that has been loved by many.
We fine-tuned this exceptionally warm piece, with its silky feel and incredible stretch.
Compared to the previous model, the chest is 3 cm wider, the shoulders are 2 cm wider, and the length is 3 cm longer. The fit is slightly more relaxed while still sitting nicely against the body, providing excellent warmth.
Premiere Suede converts moisture and sweat into heat to retain warmth, so it's incredibly warm even in winter.
Above all, the fabric feels smooth and gentle against the skin and has remarkable stretch.
It resists pilling and is easy to care for and comfortable to wear.
The back features a washable leather The American patch, and the left hem has a triangular tab.

When the weather turns cold, you'll find yourself reaching for it again and again. This is melple's signature turtleneck, loved for its exceptional comfort.
My favorite thing about it is, of course, its distinctive texture. It feels soft and smooth against the skin, like suede, and stretches remarkably well, so it's hardly restrictive to wear.
What's more, its functional fabric converts moisture and sweat into heat to retain warmth, so it's lightweight yet plenty warm. It's a highly reliable base layer for winter.
This season, the fit has been updated with a little more room through the chest and shoulders than the previous model, creating a more natural silhouette.
Personally, I recommend wearing it as a base layer under a shirt or cardigan. Just letting a little of the turtleneck show at the neckline gives your everyday outfits a much more grown-up feel.
Of course, it also looks great on its own, making it a versatile piece you can wear from early fall through early spring.
I'm 175 cm tall and weigh 75 kg, and I'm wearing size L.
