The Nepalese hand-knit brand MacMahon Knitting Mills.
Starting with buying trips to South America and passing through hippie culture, the journey led to the knitting traditions rooted in everyday life in Nepal.In contrast to the uniformity of mass-produced goods, every piece is charmingly uneven and full of handcrafted character.

A thoughtfully crafted piece, with flowers knitted in light gray yarn against a rustic, warm gray body. It’s simple for MacMahon, but the distinctive character of hand knitting makes it especially appealing. Each piece is entirely handmade, so every one is truly unique. The collection is unisex, with no distinction between men’s and women’s styles, and comes in one size only. It has a distinctive charm that ordinary brands simply can’t replicate. This MacMahon Knitting Mills cardigan features a soft gray body with a floral motif in light gray yarn.
Floral patterns can sometimes feel a little cute, but the flowers are rendered in similar shades, so they aren’t too bold and give the cardigan a very sophisticated look.
Personally, I think this subtle design is really lovely.
The chunky stitches and slightly uneven texture unique to hand knitting are part of its appeal. Its rustic, warm feel is irresistible, and unlike the neat look of machine-knit sweaters.
