Starting with sourcing in South America, then passing through hippie culture, we eventually discovered the knitting traditions rooted in everyday life in Nepal.Unlike the uniform workmanship of mass-produced goods, every piece has the charm of an uneven, handcrafted look.

A tie-dye sweater unique to MacMahon, made by dyeing a high-quality wool crew-neck sweater. Each piece is entirely handmade, so no two are alike and every one is truly one of a kind. With no distinction between men’s and women’s styles, this unisex item comes in one size only. It has a unique charm that ordinary brands simply can’t create. This MacMahon Knitting Mills piece combines the chunky texture unique to hand-knitting with tie-dye for a distinctive look.
Many people probably picture bright colors when they hear “tie-dye,” but this piece has a subdued palette throughout, giving it an appealingly grown-up feel.
The way the colors overlap looks very natural, and goes so well with the simple charm of hand-knitting.
Each piece is hand-knitted by an artisan in Nepal, and the dye patterns vary, so no two are alike. That’s a lovely detail.
Personally, I like to pair it casually with faded denim or military pants.
This knit has so much character that I think it looks great with simple clothes for the rest of the outfit.
I’m 175 cm tall and weigh 75 kg, and I’m wearing the one size. I also love the relaxed silhouette and easygoing fit.
