HIGHER is based in the southwestern part of Okayama Prefecture, a region known for hat production. The brand was named "HIGHER" to express its aspiration to "aim for greater heights," without ever being satisfied with its current technology or quality. With a commitment to MADE IN JAPAN, each product is carefully handcrafted by making use of the meticulous attention to detail characteristic of the Japanese.

This cap uses thick, rugged cordlane fabric recreated from U.S. military fabric. The ear flaps feature a three-dimensional design with carefully considered angles and darts so they naturally follow the crown and face. Resin wire is inserted into the brim for flexible styling. A Velcro adjuster inside the sweatband allows the size to be adjusted.
