HIGHER is based in southwestern Okayama Prefecture, a region known for hat production. The brand was named HIGHER to express its aspiration to continually improve and "aim higher" rather than being satisfied with its current technology and quality. With a commitment to MADE IN JAPAN and by making use of the meticulousness of Japanese craftsmanship, each product is carefully made by hand.

This 12.5 oz heavyweight striped jacquard denim is reproduced based on US vintage denim. Its three-dimensional weave, unique to jacquard looms, expresses a fine striped pattern. We offer WASH, featuring a clearly defined, deep weave based on indigo and black, and USED, which creates a relaxed, worn-in look through hand shaving and stone washing.
Thoughtful details include a crown designed for a comfortable fit and a brim calculated to curve at a natural angle when worn. An outstandingly crafted hat with a refined pattern that pursues comfort while incorporating eye-catching fabric with a distinctive weave into a basic silhouette.
