HIGHER HT26045 VINTAGE MOLESKIN HARD BRIM CAP
HIGHER is based in southwestern Okayama Prefecture, a region known for hat manufacturing. The name “HIGHER” reflects the brand’s ambition to keep striving for greater heights, never satisfied with its current techniques or quality. Committed to being MADE IN JAPAN and drawing on Japanese attention to detail, each product is carefully crafted by hand.
Made from heavyweight moleskin developed with French vintage workwear from the 1950s and ’60s as its inspiration. It uses a blend of high-quality cotton and open-end yarn (made by twisting fibers together using air), giving it the subtle nap and understated sheen characteristic of workwear.
This new cap pairs a reassuringly deep crown with a brim featuring a sponge core on top and a plastic core underneath. The brim stitching creates a textured effect by adding tension to the thread. The adjustable back strap is made of natural, undyed cowhide leather.
