FOB factory F143 ROCKY SELVEDGE WIDE STRAIGHT 5P

At FOB FACTORY, our clothing does not rely on unconventional designs. Instead, we take inspiration from vintage workwear, military gear, and classic jeans as our foundation. Based in Kojima, Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture—one of Japan’s premier manufacturing hubs—we carry out every step of the production process domestically. Our products are brought to life through the collective efforts of professionals in every sector: from selecting the finest raw cotton for our fabrics to the meticulous craftsmanship of skilled sewers and the application of cutting-edge finishing techniques that enhance the texture of every piece.

We have developed a 14oz selvedge denim using Cameroonian cotton as the base material. It is woven using "ROCKY," a special slub yarn characterized by its extreme irregularity—named for the rugged peaks of the Rocky Mountains. The denim is slowly woven on vintage GL3 power looms under low tension. This is the first wide-straight silhouette produced by FOB factory. We focused on creating a pattern that provides a relaxed fit while eliminating unnecessary bulk. As it is sewn entirely with cotton thread, you can look forward to enjoying how it ages over time.
