The fabric used is "Vintage Style Herringbone."
Herringbone is the name of the pattern, so-called because it resembles the bones of a herring.
A distinctive feature of herringbone is its "V-shaped" weave, which combines right-hand and left-hand twill alternately.
It is a traditional, durable material that possesses both the strength of a right-hand twill and the softness of a left-hand twill.
Long valued for military and work wear, the use of this fabric alone signifies its deep historical roots.
As the fabric is broken in, it develops an exceptional texture and character.

The design is based on the "P-44," commonly known as "monkey pants," which was adopted by the USMC (United States Marine Corps).
These pants were supplied to the USMC for only about one year, from 1944 to 1945, towards the end of World War II.
Due to its short adoption period of less than a year and its unique shape, it remains a legendary military pant that is still discussed today.
The name comes from the shape of the large pockets on the seat.

The most distinctive details are the three large patch pockets located on both sides and the back.
The side pockets have two buttons, and the back pocket has three, all featuring flaps with gussets at the bottom for excellent storage capacity.
The front features a button-fly closure with a deep fly piece known as a "tengu."
Both the inside and outside seams are constructed with double-stitched lap seams.
