"City Lights Bookstore" is a legendary bookstore founded in San Francisco in 1953 by poet Lawrence Ferlinghetti, which still exists today.
It is world-renowned as the birthplace of "Beatnik" culture—a movement that emerged in the American literary scene during the 1950s and 60s, defined by writers who rejected the social systems and values of the time—as well as the hippie culture that followed.

 

Now arriving in stock is a reissue of a T-shirt sold at City Lights Bookstore in 1975.
