"Bark outsiders" is a brand created by an individual with an "outside" perspective who loves authentic, vintage, and traditional items, and is intended for "outside" people who want to be selective about every single item they own.

To live freely and lightly, we only need a few minimal, simple, and essential things. We offer items that possess the authentic atmosphere of classic pieces, backed by the quality of Japanese craftsmanship and essential materials. We want to propose universal items that, like vintage goods, "enrich the heart" and become beloved, lifelong companions, even if they are a little inconvenient.

Working in the fashion industry, I often found myself unable to find the items I wanted that fit my own personal style. That is why I started this brand with the feeling of creating necessary tools rather than just fashion. As high-level Japanese materials and factories continue to decrease year by year, I hold a deep respect for their craftsmanship in our products. Nothing would make me happier than for you to experience the attention to detail that goes into every piece when you hold it in your hands.

This is the second leather handle tote in our bespoke blue-line canvas series.
A product that recreates the unique atmosphere of 80’s canvas totes by leveraging Japanese production expertise.
This iteration features a design reminiscent of classic 80s canvas totes with leather handles and trim tape.

Using the canvas fabric from our Blue Lines Tote 80s, we paid close attention to the texture of both the tape and the handle leather.
The handle leather is made in Himeji, and to achieve a faithful texture, I believe we were able to select the best possible material by considering the leather dyeing methods used back then.
The fabric was custom-woven by a long-established canvas maker, and it is sewn by some of the top craftspeople in the country.

Everything is a culmination of small details, and while choosing domestic production does increase the price, it is worth it for the level of satisfaction you feel when using it.
