About the brand and products

INSPIRE handles the domestic distribution in Japan for brands such as "City Lights Bookstore," whose T-shirts and caps are steadily gaining fans in our shop, as well as the handmade rug vests and embroidered jackets from "OAXACA," and the work of "Tom Killion."
These are genres I personally love, and I always look forward to hearing local stories and talking about fishing whenever I visit their exhibitions.

 

INSPIRE has now launched a new original label called "B.T.R = Behind The River."
Based on the concept of "flowing without being swept away," they create products while pursuing what they love, drawing on their past experience from a place where the current flows slowly, a bit away from the mainstream center.

 

This is a genuine bandana shirt made by sourcing Made in USA bandanas in their pre-cut roll state and tailoring them into shirts at a highly skilled factory in Japan.
The base design is the classic wool board shirt from Portland's long-established brand, "Pendleton." The key is to adjust the fine details like the sizing, while intentionally avoiding over-refinement to maintain the authentic imported atmosphere.
Since it is an actual bandana, you can enjoy the fading and aging process as you wash and wear it. The sewing also features double chain stitching, reminiscent of the 1950s.
