another 20th century The Game Awards Jacket
【another 20th century】
It has been more than a decade since the 20th century came to an end, and it can be called a turbulent century for humanity.Humanity made great strides in civilization, even reaching the moon.
It’s no exaggeration to say that most of what we call “fashion” today originated there.I want to create clothes that preserve that immeasurable power, imagining another 20th century, neither a replica nor vintage.
Introducing our new wool award jacket.
The key is to evoke the feel of an A-1 while drawing inspiration from early award jackets.
We aimed for a more mature look by keeping the ribbed collar design, buttons, and pockets understated.
This piece greatly expands the styling possibilities of a short-rib blouson.

Hi STORY
‟In 1975, two Stanford students organize a game programming contest.
The two are brothers, one year apart in age. Influenced by their father’s work, keyboards were their toys as children.
His older brother was so skilled at programming that the two would play games he had made.
The contest, named “hero.”, quickly becomes known among the students.
The following year, it would expand to include intercollegiate competitions across the United States, starting with the Ivy League.
The winner of the final match, THE GAME, was awarded an award jacket and a cap.
By the time the two graduate from university, offers come in from well-known major companies.
However, he turns down those offers and starts his own game development company, “Poseidon.”
Indeed, its name carries the meaning of a challenge to the first game console.”
*Hi STORY is fiction, and all people, organization names, and other entities that appear in it are entirely fictional.
A word from our staff
Ichimura / 175 cm / 75 kg / wearing size 3

I think another 20th century’s clothes are appealing for their distinctive designs, which evoke a vintage feel while still feeling somehow fresh.
This year’s The Game Awards Jacket is based on an old American award jacket, with elements of the military A-1 jacket incorporated into the design.
When you hear “award jacket,” you might imagine a sporty style with patches or embroidery, but this one has a very simple design with minimal embellishment. Personally, I really like its understated feel.
Classic details like the ribbed collar, front buttons, and pocket shape are retained, while the overall balance feels clean and streamlined.
The refined texture of the wool-based fabric is also lovely. Though it’s a casual blouson, it has a distinctly elegant look.
The jacket has a relatively short length and a silhouette with a comfortable amount of room through the body. It pairs well with wide chinos and faded denim, and I personally recommend styling it a little more smartly with wool trousers.
I’m 175 cm tall, weigh 75 kg, and wear size 3.
A piece I’d recommend not only to anyone who loves vintage award jackets and military wear, but also to those who don’t usually wear blousons.
I think this jacket strikes a great balance between ruggedness and refinement, making it a piece you can enjoy for years as everyday wear for adults.
