More than a decade has passed since the 20th century came to an end; it could be called a turbulent century for humanity.We made great strides in civilization, and humanity even reached the moon.
It is no exaggeration to say that most of what we call "fashion" today was born from that era.With that immense power in mind, we aim to create clothing by imagining another 20th century—one that is neither a replica nor vintage.

Following our previous introduction, this is from the Prison Fabric HiSTORY series.
We were inspired by old Italian prison fabrics.
It is featured on the updated Walter's Corn-Venti shirt.
The design uses panels of matching-tone check and stripe patterns.

Hi STORY
“This facility, which had been used as a prison since the 19th century, is now a monastery.
In the 60s, following the decision to demolish it, the site was taken over by local monks.
At that time, they accepted dozens of released inmates into the facility, dedicating themselves to rehabilitation and protection.
It is said that they taught the former inmates skills for repair work using the only remaining sheets and prison uniform fabrics from the prison era, creating a foothold for their reintegration into society.
That activity is what largely connects to the current spirit of rehabilitation in Italy.
A large garden has been built in the center of the former prison, which resembles the Colosseum.
Every year, a bazaar of fabrics collected from both within and outside the country is held in that garden as a customary event.
We hope that the prison fabrics of that time will also return to the world in a positive way.”
