It has been over a dozen years since the 20th century ended; it can be said that it was a turbulent century for humanity.We made great strides in civilization, and humanity even reached the moon.
It is no exaggeration to say that most of the "fashion" that exists here today was born from that era.With that immeasurable power in mind, I want to create clothes by imagining another 20th century—neither a replica nor a vintage item.

 

We are pleased to introduce the updated version of our classic Walter's Corn-Venti shirt.
While preserving the essential details that define this model, we have added a bit more room, primarily in the armholes.
We have recreated the vibe of the green x black check that was well-received in 2022. (The fabric features a light brushed finish.)

Hi STORY
”In the early 1950s, the Walter family ran a corn farm in the countryside of Illinois.
Their insistence on pesticide-free farming methods caused their household finances to tighten significantly.
Things were so tight that their only daughter, Lisa, had to start sewing for work from a very young age.
By the time she turned 18, she began making shirts in a detached shed to help the family budget.
Her diligent and earnest work, which seemed to carry on her father's spirit, garnered a large following.
While maintaining traditional manufacturing methods, she established a small factory in Chicago in 1973.
However, when the 90s arrived, the market was transformed by cheap, mass-produced goods, forcing her to go out of business all at once.
Coincidentally, this was also the time when the agricultural industry was entering the era of genetically modified crops.
It is said that the triangular ventilation holes, a trademark of Walter's shirts,
were designed by Lisa to honor the spirit of 'safe corn'."
