We dismantle vintage Italian leather, oiled jackets, workwear, Harris Tweed, and other materials to create one-of-a-kind leather items and outerwear reconstructed from the patterns.
The harmony created by blending “aging” with “the present” envelops the wearer in the one-of-a-kind strength of vintage clothing and a refined sense of playfulness. YOUSED brings materials that remain fresh and unfaded even after many years into contemporary patterns, adding new “color” to your everyday life.
This is a YOUSED leather jacket reconstructed by taking apart individual pieces of vintage European leather jackets in good condition and combining their parts. You can enjoy the one-of-a-kind character created by combining leathers with different appearances. Scratches, wrinkles, and variations in the leather, characteristic of vintage clothing, are preserved as they are, using the distinctive character that leather develops over many years.
This fishing jacket model can be considered one of YOUSED’s signature pieces. It is uniquely made in the style of traditional European short-length vintage fishing jackets. Its relaxed boxy silhouette and short length are distinctive, making it easy to style and highly versatile.
The collar is made of corduroy and features a throat latch; fastening it upright effectively keeps the wind out. The cuffs have concealed ribbing on the inside, making them suitable for everyday wear as well as activities such as riding a motorcycle. It has a chest pocket and waist pockets on both sides. Like the vintage originals, it also features a large back pocket accessible from both sides, making this an exceptionally spacious and convenient jacket.
The body lining uses chambray, while the sleeves are lined with polyester for comfort. This is one of YOUSED’s signature pieces and can be worn from early fall through early spring. Please consider it.

Personally, this fishing jacket is one of my favorites among YOUSED’s leather jackets.
Leather jackets tend to give off a somewhat tough impression, but this one lacks that feeling in a good way, with a naturally stylish look that feels relaxed somehow.
The balance of a relaxed width and shorter length is also perfect, and once you actually put it on, it’s surprisingly easy to style. I like how it doesn’t have the heavy impression typical of leather and blends naturally into your everyday wardrobe.
Personally, I like pairing it with slightly wider denim or military pants, with a sweatshirt or flannel shirt underneath. I’d love for you to wear it often and casually, without trying too hard.
I’m 175 cm tall and weigh 75 kg, and I’m wearing size 2. There’s plenty of room across the chest, creating a good balance even when layered over something heavyweight.
Another major appeal is the unique character of the leather in each piece, made possible by reconstructing vintage leather. It has a patina that looks as though it has been worn for years from the very beginning, and there’s also the pleasure of watching it develop into a one-of-a-kind jacket of your own.
It’s rare to come across a garment with such a slightly distinctive design that actually gets worn surprisingly often.
