I’ve always loved vintage mohair cardigans, but this new TOWN CRAFT release has a slightly different appeal.
A piece made from the same long-pile shaggy knit as the classic jacquard cardigan.
It retains its soft, distinctive texture and the look of vintage from the 1960s and 1970s, while this version features a crew neck and zip-up design.
Personally, I find this design really fresh and love it.
Unlike a typical V-neck cardigan, it feels almost like a blouson when you throw it on.
And another feature worth noting is the silhouette.
It has plenty of room through the body, while the length is shorter than that of a classic cardigan.
The balance is really great: it feels relaxed to wear, yet sits beautifully when you put it on.
I think it goes especially well with wide-leg jeans, chinos, and military pants.
Personally, I’d pair it with faded denim and a simple T-shirt, leave the zipper slightly open, and wear it casually.
Of course, you can zip it all the way up and wear it like a knit blouson.
