Wichard Wichard Twist Shackle

Wichard was founded by Henri Wichard in 1919 in Thiers, France. While initially a subcontractor for cutlery, the company is now a global manufacturer of marine equipment such as yachting supplies, continuing to produce high-quality products domestically. Due to their high quality, these products are used not only for yachting but also as equipment for skydiving, rescue operations, and even by astronauts.

 

This shackle is manufactured by the French company Wichard and is actually used by professional yachtsmen to secure ropes. When used in combination with a separately sold carabiner, it can be used as a keychain to neatly organize keys that tend to accumulate. It features excellent durability and functionality, with no risk of accidental detachment.
