About the brand and products
Katamimi brand bandanas are 100% made in Japan. Each shuttle-woven bandana features two selvage edges on 90cm x 90cm or 70cm x 70cm fabric.Shrinkage will occur, and light colors are sensitive to washing and sunlight. Please handle with care accordingly.
All products are non-toxic and pass strict Japanese quality standards.
No discharge (bleaching) printing is used at any stage of the process. Each bandana is hand-printed and sewn in the Kansai region of Japan.
The bandanas are designed and conceptualized by Jonathan Lukacek.
All artwork for the brand is created by Yurika Shikai. Together, each bandana is carefully designed to bring something completely new to the market.
These products are useful not only for fashion, but for everyday life.
Please use them in various ways, such as for gift wrapping or worn as a babushka. The utility is endless.
There are only a few cars in this spinning country that I felt were worthy of a bandana.
One was that old Chinook camper truck I once drove, rolling past endless mile markers like a tired American saint, but this time it’s a small "green" Mini Clubman, quietly driving through Tokyo like a strange lucky star in a dream.
The owner of the car is one of those rare people you meet on the road and never forget.
They carry a genuine coolness, walking with a radiance that makes it look effortless to enjoy the city under neon signs.
And the car itself is more than just a vehicle; it’s a traveling bar, a moving lantern.
One day, you might find it parked somewhere in Tokyo, casting a soft glow on the street, where someone hands you a drink and music drifts into the damp evening air.
The green of this bandana is taken directly from the machine itself.
A true green color.
We chased that shade.
Because some colors carry hangovers and regrets within them.

We just had to bring that color over exactly as it was.
