NAVY ROOTS is a Japanese brand of socks, ties, and scarves launched in 2013 by UN-COMPANY Co., Ltd., which was founded in Asakusa, Tokyo, in 1985.

These border socks feature a distinctive knit that uses a double-cylinder low-gauge machine for a thick, highly elastic texture, combining cable knitting on the front and rib knitting on the back.
Transparent yarn (chameleon thread) is used to ensure the color of the inner yarn does not show through, and for added durability, cotton yarn is used for the outer layer and double-stranded nylon yarn for the inner layer.
The cuffs use thick elastic to provide a secure, comfortable hold.
By positioning the border lower than usual, these socks add a stylish accent to your feet as they peek out from under your pant hem.
