MOONCASTLE is a knitwear brand created by a knit factory founded in Osaka in 1966.
In 2020, the third-generation owner, Ryoichi Tsukishiro, launched the MOONCASTLE brand, which is now supported by many customers not only in Japan but all over the world.
The brand name "MOONCASTLE" translates to "Tsukishiro," which is the founder's surname.
MOONCASTLE was born from a pledge to create products worthy of his name.
We select the finest raw materials from around the world, such as Ice Cotton made by a long-established Swiss spinning manufacturer and Australian merino wool, and carry out manufacturing at our own factory in Osaka, valuing the spirit that "God resides in the details."
By handling all processes in-house—including yarn selection, design, pattern making, knitting, sewing, and finishing—we are able to make fine adjustments and maintain a consistent level of quality that other companies cannot imitate.
