MOONCASTLE is a knitwear brand operated by a knit factory in Osaka founded in 1966.
In 2020, the third-generation owner, Ryoichi Tsukishiro, launched the MOONCASTLE brand, which has since gained support from many customers not only in Japan but all around the world.
The brand name "MOONCASTLE" is the English translation of the founder's surname, "Tsukishiro."
MOONCASTLE was born out of a vow to create products worthy of that name.
Selecting the finest materials from around the world, such as Ice Cotton produced by a long-established Swiss spinning manufacturer and Australian merino wool, we carry out production at our own factory in Osaka, cherishing the spirit that "God is in the details."
By handling every step of the process in-house—including yarn selection, design, pattern making, knitting, sewing, and finishing—we are able to make fine adjustments, consistently maintaining a level of quality that others cannot imitate.
