The brand began in the 2008 Spring/Summer season as "cable." In the 2013 Spring/Summer season, the brand name was changed to "cableami."

Inspired by the traditional Aran cable knit pattern, "ami" carries two meanings: the Japanese word for "knitting" and the French word for "friend."

The name reflects two core values: the desire to create items by interweaving various elements one by one, like a cable pattern, and the aim to craft hats that are cherished like a good friend.

This is a brand based in Kobe.

 

The "DIXIE HAT" is a staple of Cableami.

Made from domestically produced 10.4oz cotton canvas, it has been given a one-wash treatment to achieve a subtly textured finish.

Its unique form, based on a sailor hat, offers a distinct presence that sets it apart from standard hats.

I really like this slightly unconventional shape based on a sailor hat.

It looks great worn as is, but I also recommend folding up the brim to change the look a little.

It has a unique vibe you can't get from an ordinary hat, making it a perfect accent for any outfit.
