TUF-NUT, which developed workwear primarily in the American West, earned a reputation for high-quality craftsmanship, leading to the supply of work shirts and slacks to the military during World War II.
After the war, they continued to produce high-quality chambray shirts, work jackets, work pants, and overalls, gaining widespread recognition across the United States.
Adapting to the changing needs of the times, the brand expanded beyond workwear.
In the 60s, by diversifying materials, functionality, and color palettes—including items with an East Coast aesthetic like colored pants and stretchable apparel—the brand differentiated itself from other workwear manufacturers through a unique perspective.

These work trousers are crafted from a sturdy twill fabric woven with a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton.
The fabric is characterized by its pleasant feel, wrinkle resistance, and a distinctive luster.
While many vintage TUF-NUT trousers feature urea buttons, these have adopted snap buttons engraved with the brand name for added convenience.
Incorporating vintage details such as a waist coin pocket and a brass TALON zipper, the design also features slightly larger pocket openings and bag cloth to suit modern lifestyles.
The silhouette is a wide straight fit, and the inseam length is standardized across all waist sizes.

These work pants that I've been looking forward to have finally arrived.
Unlike chinos, these are authentic work pants made from a cotton-poly blend. I wanted to introduce a truly great pair of pants at the shop, but it was difficult to find the right ones... until now. With the decision to stock TUF-NUT, we have finally begun offering work pants that I can recommend with confidence.
With tightly woven fabric, a waist coin pocket, and a TALON zipper, the details are perfect. The silhouette is that classic, wide, masculine shape that hasn't changed since the early days.
I think these are the definitive work pants.
I'm going to buy them in every color! (laughs)
