Mr.OLDMAN × NUU Linen Trousers
Mr.OLDMAN is an independent brand launched in 2009.
Drawing on the knowledge and experience we've gained over the years, we create items that we genuinely want for ourselves.

A collaboration with NUU, a brand created by Moriyama Sewing in Kiryu.
These wide-leg trousers feature a two-pleat design and are made from 100% linen, making them ideal even for midsummer wear.
The back pocket is a single-pocket design, and you can choose whether to have it on the left or right when ordering.
They've turned out beautifully, so we hope you'll consider them.

I think these trousers turned out to be very close to my personal ideal.
They’re based on traditional, classic two-pleat trousers. They have a roomy waist and a wide silhouette that drapes loosely down to the hem.
What I particularly like is how the 100% linen fabric gives them a relaxed feel while retaining their classic look.
They’re less formal than wool trousers, yet not quite like chinos. The natural creases and soft texture unique to linen add a subtle touch of refinement to everyday outfits.
And above all, they’re comfortable to wear even in midsummer.
We tend to reach for shorts in hot weather, but having a pair of airy, wide-leg trousers like these makes getting dressed in summer much more enjoyable.
I like to pair them with a simple T-shirt or linen shirt and finish with leather sandals for a relaxed look. Their loose silhouette also means you can wear them with leather shoes without looking too formal, for a mature, polished outfit.
Of course, I also recommend wearing them as a set with the first-type linen jacket made from the same fabric.
A vintage work jacket and classic trousers may seem like an unlikely pairing, but making them from the same linen fabric brings them together naturally.
Both pieces are easy to wear on their own, while the set offers a slightly more distinctive look. We also had versatility in mind when creating them.
This jacket and these trousers are limited made-to-order items produced with NUU, right here in our hometown of Kiryu.
