Katae Brand bandanas are 100% made in Japan. Each shuttle-woven bandana features two selvedge edges on either 90cm x 90cm or 70cm x 70cm fabric.
Shrinkage will occur, and light colors are sensitive to washing and sunlight. Please take care accordingly.
All products are non-toxic and have passed strict Japanese quality standards.
No discharge (bleaching) printing is used in any process. The bandanas are hand-printed one by one and sewn in the Kansai area of Japan.
The bandanas are designed and conceptualized by Jonathan Lukacek.
All of the brand's art is created by Yurika Shikai. Together, each bandana is carefully designed to bring something completely new to the market.
These products are useful not only for fashion but also for daily life.
Please use them in various situations, such as gift wrapping or wearing as a babushka. The utility is endless.
This bandana is a piece we have wanted to create since the very beginning.
We love cacti here, and through childhood memories and recent frequent trips to the southwestern deserts, we have become fascinated by the shapes and wonders of cacti.
The shape of the Saguaro defines the landscape just as much as the mesas do.
Along with this admiration for the form came a curiosity about the peyote cactus (Lophophora).
Being familiar with the culture of Hikuri, we have given this piece a name that is worthy of it.
We wanted to mix the kind of graphics found in roadside souvenir shops in the Southwest with the "journey" of the road itself.
A bandana that could appear in a Hunter S. Thompson novel, with color tones like a Carl Redin painting. Something a David Lynch character might wear...
