About the brand and product

LOCALLY Locally 02452 light short muffler Moss green
A stole brand from Bishu, Aichi Prefecture, centered on the theme of “wearing cloth.”
Today, only a few “Schöenherr looms” remain in Japan. Using these looms, we bring new ideas to the traditions and techniques of Bishu, creating products that bring out the character of the materials.
Unlike efficiency-focused fabrics made by treating yarn with chemicals to smooth it, fabric woven on a “Schöenherr loom” develops a unique softness and texture as gaps between the threads allow air to be woven in as well. The finishing process is also entirely done by hand by artisans, giving each piece a one-of-a-kind finish. The fabric develops over time, so the longer you use it, the more you can enjoy its aging.

Woven slowly at a low speed to incorporate air, the wool is exceptionally light and warm, with no itchiness and a reassuring softness that gently envelops you. Its refined quality and understated elegance give any outfit an elevated look just by wearing it. Simply wrap it loosely around your neck for a complete look.
Easy to use in the car or indoors as a shoulder wrap or lap blanket, and recommended for all genders. This model uses wool fabric that is slightly lighter than the standard model.

Once you try a LOCALLY scarf, its lightness and softness are truly addictive.
This light short muffler is made from slightly lighter wool fabric than the standard model, and its appeal lies in how light and comfortable it feels when wrapped.
Woven slowly on a rare Schöenherr loom in Bishu, Aichi Prefecture, the fabric has a soft, airy feel, as if it holds plenty of air. It’s so soft you’d never guess it’s 100% wool, and it feels truly wonderful around your neck.
Personally, I think a scarf’s natural volume when wrapped is just as important as its warmth.
It’s lightweight, so even when you wrap it loosely around your neck, it doesn’t look bulky and creates a clean, neat impression.
And this slightly muted moss green shade is just perfect.
It goes well with olive military jackets, brown coats, and faded denim, adding a subtle touch of color to winter outfits that can tend to look dark.
It’s generously sized, so you can wear it not only around your neck but also draped loosely over your shoulders indoors.
Personally, I think it looks best when you don’t try to wrap it too neatly. A slightly relaxed, undone look feels very LOCALLY.
Easy to wear every day, and you can feel the quality of the material each time you put it on.
A scarf to be cherished for years as a winter staple.
