Since its founding in 1995, the brand WAREHOUSE has continued to pursue its theme of faithfully reproducing vintage clothing. We examine the historical context of a vintage garment from the time it was produced and meticulously reproduce it, researching everything from each individual thread to the fabric, sewing, and washing process.
WAREHOUSE clothing is not designer-brand clothing.
Just as designers' names were not left on workwear or everyday wear of the time, we believe that clothing is appealing precisely because it is impossible to know who made it.
John Gluckow
Born in New Jersey, USA. He began dealing in vintage clothing while attending Princeton University. After graduating, he joined Ralph Lauren. While searching for vintage pieces, he also played an active role in planning and design. He went independent and founded Strongarm C＆S Co., and is now active as one of the world's leading vintage dealers.
This season's Strongarm Flannel comes in six check patterns. Each check is unique, with highly saturated, deep colors that fade beautifully. Warehouse's outstanding skill with fabrics is on full display in this flannel as well! The Ancient Flannel features an old-style collar with a slight shape, along with rounded pockets and flaps. The Modern Flannel has a flatter collar edge, with notches in the corners of the pockets and flaps. The Everyday Flannel shirt, featuring pockets without flaps, combines the ease and comfort you want in a favorite shirt that you have enjoyed wearing for years. It is a dependable staple you will want to reach for again and again. You cannot go wrong with any of them.
