FOB FACTORY products are made.

We used indigo-dyed threads for both the warp and weft, then used a sashiko weaving technique to create a cube-shaped surface and a distinctive raised texture.
The fabric is very soft and feels almost like knitwear.
The front features pockets inspired by vintage jacket designs, along with black laurel-pattern tack buttons.
It’s durable, and I’m looking forward to seeing how the indigo ages.

This mandarin-collar jacket has a distinctive, wonderful character, reminiscent of Czech military jackets from around the 1950s and ’60s. The black laurel buttons on the front also have a subtle, refined look. As a coverall-style jacket, it pairs well with T-shirts and sweatshirts, and also works nicely layered over chambray or flannel shirts. Its beautiful aging is another part of its appeal, so we hope you’ll enjoy wearing it for many years.
A word from our staff
Ichimura / 175 cm / 75 kg / wearing size 3

Sashiko fabric has a charm all its own, from the texture created by its distinctive raised pattern to its understated, distinctly Japanese feel. It offers something different from ordinary denim or twill.
FOB Factory’s INDIGO SASHIKO JACKET is a piece that lets you fully appreciate the appeal of sashiko.
First and foremost, this fabric is truly wonderful.
A remarkably elaborate fabric, woven with indigo-dyed warp and weft threads and a sashiko technique that creates fine, cube-shaped texture.
It has a substantial presence, but when you actually put it on, it’s surprisingly soft, with a feel almost like knitwear.
And one detail I particularly like is this slightly unusual collar design.
Its mandarin collar recalls Czech military jackets from around the 1950s and ’60s, giving it a distinctive feel that sets it apart from a typical coverall.
Details like the pockets reminiscent of vintage workwear and the black laurel buttons add a nice accent, bringing a touch of refinement to its rugged character.
Personally, with a jacket like this, I prefer not to overthink it and just wear it with my everyday clothes.
Wear it casually over a white T-shirt with faded denim or loose-fitting chinos. That alone looks great.
I also recommend pairing it with smart slacks for a refined, mature look.
I’m 175 cm tall and weigh 75 kg, and I’m wearing size 3.
Its comfortably relaxed silhouette makes it easy to layer over not just T-shirts, but sweatshirts and flannel shirts too.
And most of all, I’m looking forward to seeing how it ages over time.
Along with the distinctive fading of indigo dye, the characteristic texture of the sashiko will gradually soften and settle in, giving the jacket an appearance that’s sure to be different from when it was new.
Personally, I think clothes like this look their best after years of wear, once they’ve started to show a little wear and tear.
Unfazed by trends, it’s the kind of jacket you’ll naturally reach for even ten years from now.
This is a wonderful jacket with FOB Factory’s signature style, and the kind of appeal that makes you want to wear it for years to come.
