"çanoma" is a niche fragrance brand established in 2020 that combines "chanoma" (daily life) with "sadō" (the refined art of the tea ceremony).
çanoma is a "perfume for the Japanese," born from a fusion of Japanese sensibilities and French techniques.
Under the direction of creator Yuta Watanabe and in collaboration with French perfumer Jean-Michel Duriez, the brand aims to create fragrances that Japanese people can use in their daily lives, combining novel ideas not found in existing perfumes with expert blending techniques.

8-17 | Matsukaze (Pine Breeze)
Aki no Miyajima. Sea breezes, Itsukushima Shrine, and the scent of deer envelop the entire island along with the morning mist.
Along a path thick with trees, I encounter plump camellia flowers. I bring my nose close.
When the sacred air of the island merges with the scent of the camellia, I am filled with a sense of awe.

Animalic notes centered on leather, woody notes of moss and mushrooms, marine notes with a hint of the seashore, and floral notes centered on osmanthus—these four parts intertwine complexly to form a single accord.
